1 (6 1/2 ounce) can crabmeat
8 ounces cream cheese
1/2 cup butter
1 tablespoon grated onion
2 to 3 dashes Worcestershire sauce
Salt, to taste
Melt butter and cheese in top of double boiler. Add crabmeat and its juice. Stir thoroughly. Add remaining ingredients and serve hot with crackers or chips.
16 ounces cream cheese
1 (8 ounce) package crab flakes
2 tablespoons finely chopped onion
1 tablespoon prepared horseradish
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
4 to 5 drops hot pepper sauce
1/4 cup finely chopped walnuts
Paprika
Stir cream cheese until slightly softened. Blend in remaining ingredients except walnuts and paprika. Spread mixture in 9-inch pie plate. Top with walnuts and sprinkle with paprika. Bake uncovered at 375 degrees F for 25 minutes until lightly browned.
