Pimento Cheese Spread

Pimento Cheese Spread

8 ounces Cheddar cheese, grated
1/3 cup mayonnaise
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon prepared mustard
1 large dash Tabasco® sauce
1 (2 ounce) jar pimentos, drained and chopped (save liquid)

Blend together and chill. If you wish a smoother paste, add pimento liquid and put through blender or food processor.

Pimento Cheese Spread

1 small can evaporated milk
1/2 pound cheese, shredded
1 small jar pimentos, mashed
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
1 heaping tablespoon mayonnaise

Place milk in top of a double boiler. Just as the water in the bottom of the boiler begins to boil, add cheese to milk. When it starts to thicken, remove from heat.

Store in the refrigerator.
